Between “Al-Qassam Brigades do not kill children,” and “These are inhuman beasts,” the contrast is clear between the one with rights and principles, and the occupier who does not respect a believer, neither covenant nor protection; whether old or young, man or woman, all in his view deserve death in the most dreadful way.
This is what the four days of “Al-Aqsa Storm” have clearly shown, and it was obvious from the beginning; the crimes of the occupation are too many to count, and too evident to deny.
In wars, usually only the sound of bullets is heard, and only the color of blood seen… But there is always one side that preserves its religious and moral principles, and truth is what even the enemies have testified to; Channel 12 Israeli TV broadcasted a photo of a phrase written on one of the walls in areas stormed by the Palestinian resistance: “Al-Qassam does not kill children.”
With few words, the phrase summarized one of the ethical principles of the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades – the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas). This was evident during the hours when the Palestinian resistance controlled many towns and Israeli settlements, as it was keen not to target children. If it happened even once, one photo would have been enough to headline Israeli and Western media outlets around the clock.

A group of resistance fighters enters one of the settlements – which was originally built on land stolen from its owners – and finds an elderly woman bedridden. One of them moves to reassure her, saying: “The command of Allah’s Messenger to us is not to kill women, children, elders or worshipers in their cloisters.” He adds: “We executed the Messenger’s command… We killed the fighters and spared the women and children.”
But this adherence to values – despite the pain – did not find an echo with those standing behind Israel. Western media describes the victims in Israel as “killed,” and describes those in Palestine merely as “dead,” as if they died naturally of old age or illness, not by the most horrific weapons coming from the West.

And a witness from her own people testified:
Another clip broadcasted also by Israeli Channel 12, in which a female settler recounts how Palestinian resistance fighters refused to harm her and her two children during Operation Al-Aqsa Storm.
The settler talked about the moment Al-Qassam Brigades fighters stormed her home, saying: “After they entered, I told them in English I have two boys, I have children with me, and they replied: ‘We are Muslims, we will not harm you.'” She adds: “This surprised me and reassured me as well.”
